Don't you sometimes wish you could go back and edit what you just posted?

After Ive finished starting a discussion or posting a response I at times wish I could go back and edit it. I mean I usually proof read before I finish but sometimes you miss things. For me its mainly spelling or grammatical errors. Worse is when its a point that I what to withdraw or revise or when I think I hadnt made my point. How about you?

I really agree with this. I can see both sides of the fence- I would like to be able to at least add onto my entries if I feel I havent explained myself clearly.

Well, you *can* comment on your own comments, you know...

Yea sometimes I do. If I want to add something or want to correct something editing would help a bunch. I proof read before I post as well. So, I usually don't have much of a problem. But if I decide to add something after I hit the post response button then I can't unless I go and add another comment.

I just signed up yesterday, and this is my third post, so I haven't anything to regret here. On other boards, there often is an edit button that I use occasionally to correct errors. I just wish there was an edit button on my mouth in real life -- I sometimes end up shooting myself in the foot by blurting out words without thinking through the consequences.

I'm new here but I definitely would like a chance to edit my responses to discussions like you can at Yahoo! Answers. Sometimes it is easy to miss a spelling or grammar mistake or get distracted and hit "post response" instead of "preview" and miss an obvious mistake. :-/
