Who had experience seen UFO?

I was a pre-teen, somewhere around 11 or 12. I was sitting near my window (at the computer) around 9 at night. The blinds were open. Something caught my eye, and I looked out the window. I saw a triangle spaceship, a dark color. It had bright lights around the perimiter of the ship. The lights were like chaser lights. I watched as it hovered nearby. After a few minutes, it shot up and out of sight, faster then any flying object should. I laughed about it with my friends the next day. I thought there was no way I could have seen what I did, even though I knew I didn't dream it. But then, one of my friends heard the story and his eyes got huge. He said that Jason, another friend, had told the same exactly story. He lived down the street and saw exactly the same thing I did. We exchanged stories and yep, we both saw the same thing. Freaky.

In 1979 in Kanakee Illinois at about 7:30 on a summer night, a UFO was sighted hovering over what was then the Bel-Scott parking lot. The lights that went around in strange patterns was mesmorizing. The very low hum of the craft could be felt. The few people that were in their cars were getting out to get a better look atthe specticle. Traffic stoppped on the busy main raod by the plaza. In the blink of an eye the craft shot straight up to a white dot in the night sky blending in with the stars. With exitement I spoke "Did you see that?!?!" to no end. My mother tried her best to rationalize the situation by stating perhaps it was a helicopter. Two things came to my mind, "Mom, helicopters make noise and they aren't that fast.." I replied. She was silenced by my logic. I was 9 years old. My dadhad run into the store to get a brush for our dog, he missed the whole thing.

I do believe such a UFO is not exist. It's something that don't have a realistic proof. Up until now, many peoples claim about the existence but still somehow no evidence to support it. I'm not denying anything if there really have somebody witnessed something that suspicious flying around, i just wondering why only few people who saw it.

i saw one years ago and it was still light and looked like a big ball of fire in the sky and just moved slowly over us. it was in all the national papers over the next few days as loads of people had seen it and reported it to police and media. no one admitted that they knew what it was ie military but now i am older, this was about 30 years ago, i think a lot of the ufo's are actually aircraft that are being tested out and that is why military cannot admit to it as these would be secrets.
