Why do we go to the beach?

I like going to the beach as it is a place to get away from the home and forget about the everyday stress we deal with at work or life issues. Getting away from all negative news we see on tv or read in the paper. I like to go there to spend time with friends, hang out, lay out and relax and swim. There are some good discount shops down there as well and good restaurants. There is a lot to do at the beach. Sometimes I just like to sit there and watch the ocean and the sunsets.
