finally naruto stops the filler episode

I have to agree with Emarie. The filler episodes, despite being created to give Kishimoto more time to get the manga furhter along, really did serve a purpose. You got to see the side and minor supporting characters develop as well and you got to see and understand the relationship Naruto had with each of them. Because of the filler episodes people were able to better understand the minor characters better and those characters became more real to the audience. I especially liked Anko's arc, the Sand Sibling's arc, and Hinata's as well. Even though the managa is great the time jump is just that, a jump. And it would certainly be odd to see how far the characters had come without the fillers. As it stood we saw the characters at points A and B and after the time jump they were ranging anywhere from Q to Z - a big difference in character and development. Because of the filler episodes it became more real to us. Especially if you were watching the filler epsiodes and reading the manga at the same time. It helped to balance the perspective. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to have the anime back on track, I just don't think the fillers were all that bad. :)

I didn't mind the filler at all, they were funny on most parts. But I am glad the story is finally on the way, i was dieing to know what happened to Sasuke, and how much stronger Naruto and the others had gotten. The best surprise I think is Sakura's strength. It was shockingly funny, when she punched the floor and found Kakashi hidding..8D

Although I am extremely happy Shippuuden finally began, like the fact you could see more of the secondary characters that usually don't take much of the spotlight in the main episodes.Plus some of the episodes were pretty funny,like the one with Shino laughing and the Lee and Gai imposters.

actually the 'fillers' contained a lot of character information which you didn't get to see in the manga. you didn't see the real connection naruto made with the rest of the shinobi around his age group and it helps the storyline a lot more. i loved the filler episodes, and of course i understood the reason for it since it takes several chapters of the manga to make one episode of the anime

ya.. i kinda hate the fillers.. ive seen the latest episodes.. Naruto Shippuden in YouTube and it rocks!! Gaara is great
