What's the highest point in your country? What is it, a mountain, a hill, a plain? The highest point in Romania is in Fagaras Mountains: Moldoveanu Peak 2544m.

Huge is not something I can relate to... It may be huge for you but tiny for an Indian or Chinese... In meters please!

The highest tops are in the Western Alps, where numerous mt are the tops which exceed the 4000 between which the Pink Mountain 4637 mt, Cervino 4476 mt and the White Mountain what with his 4810 mt is the highest mountain of Europe. Miao

Isn't Mont Blanc in France? I'm only interested in the higest point in your country, not all the Alps. And, by the way, Mont Blanc is not the highest piont of Europe. That would be Mount Elbrus (5642 m) from The Caucasus.

I've heard of Pico de Teyde but I can't remember who makes a brilliant description of this mountain. It's either Otto von Humboldt in "From Orinocco to Amazon" either Claude-Levi Strauss in "Sad tropics"...
