Cats and the full moon

I have 5 cats and was just wondering if anyone else has noticed a difference in their cat(s) around the time of full moon? Mine are spastic! Run all around the house, up and down the stairs, over the sofa, just flipping nuts. It's funny to watch them. Let me know if I am the only one.

lol, I have just noticed over several months that it's worse around the time of the full moon. I know that sometimes it can effect people but am noticing its effect on animals as well.

Two of my cats - Two cats on a ledge
I have seven cats and I have never seen any effect on them with a full moon. My cats can be nuts for reason what so ever. They usually get each other going.

wow, seven. People think I am nuts with five. But There is always room for kitties. That's how it is here too. A chain reaction. But it just seems in my house around the time of the full moon, at least more so.

My cat goes through phases ( like the moon lol) once every week she has a spastic night, where she is just freaking out all over the place, tering into things and generally going crazy! Now she always seems to have a spastic night on a full moon so it can be related :) Kinda funny to think of it like that, but really i dont see why not. Maybe its all the light in the house? I dont know.

yeah right. Strange things have been known to happen. It's an old wivestale too abt moms having their babies on nights when the moon is full. Just something in the air!
