The shops near me don't have that much variety I like to buy fabric online, there are lots of different places to look eBay has a huge selection in fat quarters and meters . It's often much cheaper to buy fabric online too I buy almost all the fabric I get on eBay these days. Having a unique fabric makes your work more interesting and pleasing so it's worth the searching and waiting for delivery.

I tend to buy most of my fabric online, too. Places like eQuilter.com have an astonishing array of fabric. I haven't seen 95% of it in brick and mortar stores.
I think it depends on how many people sew in your area, too. Very few people around here sew, and seeing someone with the same fabric that I've used would be a big shock.

i do not think that the stuff at stores is boring at all i just think that it is very expensive and overly priced i do not think that it is clonish look around you there is all different kinds of things i also do not like having the same things as millions of other people do but then again my style is quite different from other people i think two people could wear the same things but wear them two different ways and make the clothing look completely different
