I am interested in getting a dog this summer and I am torn about what breed I want. I am thinking of a small to medium sized dog and one that either does not shed a lot or shed at all. I am curious to hear about what type of dog you have and what you like or dislike about it. I am also interested in whether or not your dog is trained and how easy/difficult it was.

Or maybe something a little bit bigger - A Doberman, they are smart, loyal, loveable and protective. They have very short fur and minimal if any shedding. They are very smart like I said therefore very easy to train. They dont need hours of grooming and are really easy to look after. I have had Dobes all my life and would recommend them to most people.

Pomeranians are very smart and don't need a lot of training. They seem to learn quick. Also dogs with hair as opposed to fur, poodles, pomeranians, shih tzus maltese do not shed. I don't have a dog yet, but am doing the homework. It sounds like we both want the same kind of dog. Non shedders and smart and small.
