I admit that I saw the movie first, but I found the book really weird. It was well-written and profound, but it was really, REALLY weird.
Opinions...?

Weird? Like you all I saw the movie before reading the book, and I found the book really, but really a lot better than the movie. The movie, which I still retain a good movie, is just a part of the whole book, and for sure it is not rendered in the same atmosphear and with the same enphasis!

I also saw the movie before I read the book. I enjoyed the book much better. Sure it was weird but I love weird stuff. LOL
I also found myself being quite disapointed with the movie after I read the book because it seems like the movie is only the first half of the book.

I also watched the movie first. After reading the book I decided that I like the book far better than the movie, although I do love how they did Falcor the luck dragon in the movie. The lion in the book who lives in the desert is probably one of my favorite literary animals ever. The book does go a bit off-the-deep-end weird but I loved it anyway!
