We all have had a favourite candy. What was yours and do they still sell it?
My parents owned a variety store when I was growing up, so I tried nearly everything available around here.
My favourite was called a wig wag bar. It was a chocolate bar filled with caramel in the shape of lattice.

When I was a kid, I loved those little colored round candies with chocolate in the middle. They had kind of a sweet flavor to them. They came in long skinny packages wrapped in clear plastic. I don't remember what they are called though, and it's bugging me! lol...I don't think they sell them anymore, though, which is sad!
I also loved Jelly Bellies (still do!) and chicklets. I haven't seen chicklets around except very rarely in 25 cent machines.

I had a few favourites, black babies, spearmint leaves, sponge toffee, black balls, wax lips and mojos just to name a few. I remember as a kid having to go to the store for my mom and being told I could get the change in penny candy. That was when the counter was filled with them and they were 3 or 5 for a penny.
There is an online store in Ontario where you can get some of those old favourites. Although I've found that they just aren't the same, like the spearmint leaves now are twice as thick and I just don't like them as much.

Probably Reece's Peanut Butter Cups from when I lived in Virginia.
They're near impossible to get in the U.K. though. :(
It's tempting to order a case of them off the net!

My favorite candy was Jolly Ranchers. Not the little tootsie roll shaped ones, but the ones that came in a stick. Pez candy has always been a favorite also.

I loved Red Whips and Starbars. I've mved from the states to Ireland and Red Whips just aren't available here, but strangely enough Star Bars, which had been discontinued in the US are here. I guess you win some and you lose some!
