...I just wanted to give my friends the news that I am finally back online. I have had problems with my ISP from the beginning but I eventually couldn't even get on the internet and it has taken forever and I have had to jump through all kinds of obstacles getting a better and faster service of broadband, but such is the cost of living in Nicaragua. Everything is put off until tomorrow and as you know, tomorrow never comes. I won't bore you with all the details but I have been offline so long through no fault of my own. The problem is that I was so addicted to myLot and talking to my friends that my withdrawal pains have been severe. Now I am ready to settle in and get back with the program. I just wanted to let my friends know that I wasn't purposely neglecting to answer your discussions.

Well, I am glad that you are back..you asked a one stroke question that I stumbled on the other night.
Or at least I think it was you. I am a certified OS instructor if you have any questions.

Thanks, Deb. You probably ran into a discussion that I started quite awhile ago to see if anyone on here does One Stroke painting. I have a lot of the paints and have done a little painting, mainly the cabbage roses. I need to get my paints out and make sure they are not dried out. If they are, it will be a big loss. Thanks for your offer to answer any questions I have. I have some vhs tapes somewhere stored away that I need to find and start using them because it is really fun to paint using one stroke method.

WOOHOO! I am so glad you made it back. My Lot has missed you and I have missed you so much too! I can't wait to finally have some new discussions to respond too. You will notice the pay is a little lower here now since you have been gone, I think it may be due to My Lot growing so big and our cut is now lower. LOL I am so glad you are back!

Thanks. It is good to be back. I really missed you too. I should have taken the time offline to think of some great topics to offer up but I didn't do that. Oh well, something will pop into my head I am sure. I haven't noticed the pay change yet. I guess I will tomorrow. I did notice that they must be paying a little for responses or something because I have earned a few cents here and there when I wasn't even online. I see that myLot is really growing. It is so good to be back. I had to rely on some infuencial friends here or I still wouldn't be online for another two or three weeks. The way they do business here, it is amazing that they even have any. If the US did that the internet would probably still be in it's infancy. The internet sure wouldn't be as common as it is these days. They kept reminding my husband that he wasn't in the USA and told them that was obvious because there you could decide you wanted internet and be connected within an hour or so and here it is two or three months. I needed the old style phone line for broadband but they wouldn't give me the old style because they said they were only promoting the other. So we ended up having to move my sister-in-laws phone account and name to our house and move ours to her house, as though we both had moved. We also had to pay a telephone lineman money under the table to run the kind of line we needed to the house as well reconnect fees for both lines. The office wouldn't give him an order to do it. Their only order was to connect a line available which is the new style which they said we couldn't use for broadband. It has been quite an experience and I totally don't understand what their problem was since they also own the internet service. You would think that they would want the opportunity to sell the internet service for more money to us to say nothing of getting us off their backs daily because of no service. I hope I never have such an experience again because there is absolutely nobody to appeal to about it. Sorry for the ranting. I said I wasn't goint to do that.

It is good to see that you are back online again caribe and it must have been awful with all the problems you were having with the internet, or should that be without the internet. I think that in many ways we have become so used to the internet, that we don't think that it will not be available all the time. I do have to say though that if it is not available when I am at home, then I do miss it but if we happen to be out or away for a while, then I am quite happy not to have it. The only problem is that the emails seem to pile up and it takes forever to read through them all. :)
Anyway, my friend welcome back and I hope that everything continues to go well for you with your new broadband connection and that the power also stays connected for at least the majority of the day, if not all that is.
I am just starting to catch up on the discussions started by my friends, because I have not been here much for the past couple of months, so right now it is a bit hectic. I am sure that your friends will understand, just as mine have been, when we cannot be online for some reason.
