The purpose of Lent, is abstinence, for Lengthening of days. Beginning on Ash Wedsnesday lasting 40 days to Easter, lengthening of Spring. Easter, a day commemorating the resurrection. Vernal Equinox, and Ecliptic. Are what opens up your understanding regarding why we celebrate it. March 21 and Sept 23 Two times of the year when the sun is exactly above the equator and day and night are equal length; Either two points in the sky where the Ecliptc (the suns annual pathway) and the celestial equator intersect. Without going to deep, the point is "resurrection" Then go study out "Dominus Vobiscum" and then search out "Ephah" and you will understand Jehovah is genus!!
