How far will you go to hide your age ? It seems to me that woman no longer want to age gracefully. Dont get me wrong, I care about my appearance...I wear make up, keep my hair done and use moisturizers to care for my skin but I draw the line at cosmetic surgery. I have a friend whos mother (50 some) has had a breast enhancement, goes regularly for botox injections, and has veneers...all to avoid looking like a grandma (even though she is). I think if a woman cares for her appearance she can look beautiful at any age. Maybe I'm to old fashioned for my age but I'm glad my mom doesn't look like my "younger" sister !

I use moisturizers and creams for my skin. I was going to let my hair get gray. But I only let it get so far, then I had to dye it. It does make me look younger,so I will be continuing to do that. But that is as far as I care to go.

I live near Hollywood where many people are getting face lifts, tucks, botox, and enlargements, but would never consider any of these surgeries, as I don't think there is anything wrong with getting older. There is no reason for me to look the same age as my daughter. I think my silver hair looks great. My friends are always saying how great it is that I can be myself. People should do what makes them feel good about themselves and if that is surgery then they should get it done.
