Aside from 'Filipino' and the dialect used in my locality, I am fluent in English. I used to have acquired sufficiency in Spanish but, since it is not in use around here, I think I'll be dictionary dependent if the need arises for me to use it in communicating with anyone. I have tried my hand at French, but realizing it will be all for nothing, I stopped. Proficiency in many languages will be an advantage only if there will be some good use for it.

Yep! Proficiency in many languages will be your main factor now on call centers in manila. Being a JLPT lvl 2-3 Passer on Nihonggo can take a salary net of 40,000 pesos. not bad = )

Aside from Filipino and English, I would love to be fluent in Japanese. I know a few grammar, words, phrases from learning online, watching anime and jdoramas and from my "more addictive" friends. I've friends who're level 2 in Japanese. But I don't think I'll get to that level - unless I get to be transfered in Japan. haha!
