Here's a question. If you had a friend who has helped your business and only been nothing but nice to you, and this second friend had issues with the first friend and they had a falling out and asked that you stop associating with the first friend, would you end the first friendship simply because your second friend dont like them anymore? This just recently happened to me. I lost a friendship over this and to be honest, there is no way I'm allowing anyone to tell me who my friends will be or not be. Am I wrong? (Yikes this sounds confusing, doesnt it haha).

Nope it is not confusing at all. I have been in the same position in life before. I would lose the second friendship, because they have no control over who my friends are. If they are my true friend then who and what I do should not affect our friendship. Those two do not have to like each other, but it shouldn't matter to either of them who I like and who I choose to be friends with. If it does matter to the point they stop being my friend, then guess what? They were never a real friend in the first place.

not confusing at all , I always take people as I find them and like you there is no way someone will tell me who to talk to , why should you punish someone if they haven't done you any harm , I would keep my friend until or if the ever did YOU PERSONALLY a wrong thing xx
