so, how "panicky" are you when it comes to paper matters?

i just have submitted my requirements to the swedish embassy last wednesday and got my interview schedule for april 16. i will be living in sweden with my boyfriend after having my visa. whew!
prior to wednesday, i can just relax, i sorted out papers trying to figure out if something hasn't been fixed yet. i call myself a "panicky" type of person. i panic a lot especially when dealing with paper submissions. i want everything to be complete. i review everything from time to time just to see that nothing's missing.
are you like me who can't sit still when it comes to paper submissions... like in arranging your wedding papers, thesis, applying for licenses, etc. or are you the kind of person who is relax and will just let anything happen?

No need to panic. Just see to it that everything that's required are all in there before submission. They give you a checklist of those things that the embassy people want to take hold of, right? Double check after you believe you already have them all in one container to make sure that you have missed not a single thing. Then you can now attend to your regular chores.
Well, I believe you did it right because, you got that April 16 schedule. Good luck and may you make it. Be composed, comfortable and confident during the interview. Remember to look to the eyes of the interviewer as a matter of course. All these things matter.

Oh my god, we are more or less going through the same thing since my bf is not swedish and his visa is about to expire. It is sooooo much to think about, so many papers to fill and so many do´s and dont´s =)
I can so relate to this =)
So are you going to stay forvere or just for a year or so ? What is the plan?

oh. well, i applied for a resident's permit which will allow me to stay in sweden for the first two years and as said, if my boyfriend and i are still together after two years (i really really hope so!i want him for the rest of my life), i will be granted a permanent resident's permit.
so, what visa does your boyfriend have? hope he can extend his stay with you. that would be a lot better for you two.
are there so many do's and dont's? hmm.. have gone through the easy step yet. and will just get interviewed on april. so, not much acquianted with the dos and don'ts yet.
and oh, jannepanne (the first one to answer above) is my boyfriend. hehe.

I was a engage in logistic field and in my course we are trained to handle more on documents for all necessary shipping and import/export permits maybe that's the reason that I was at home when in terms of documents because I was used to a heavy falling in line for documents to be filled or to be signed or to be paid.
I think your case is far different with documents I handle for it was a personal matter that's why you are sort of nervous of what might be the result.
But as early as now I congratulate you already for you complete the necessary documents I can sensed it and you are bound to leave us here lol!! enjoy joy trip and feel at home to the place of your one great love maryannemax!!!

I tend to relax. And I will be even more relaxed in the future, since from July I will have my girlfriend living with me, and I am sure she will be better organized than me. But, nah, I play it cool!
