Does anyone have a code to send SMS using java and J2ME

Hi friends I am learning J2ME and is in search of some sample code which will facilitate me to send and receive SMS using my computer.Also is it possible to send SMS without using the service provider or I will require some service provider.Also is there any free service provider using which I can send free SMS from my computer using Java.Please help.

Hey you need write code for sending sms from j2me.You better use NETBEANS ide developed by sun.Its great to develop such j2me apps. You just need to drag and drop stuff to create sms sending application and if you want code then you can check the automatic code generated for that app by netbeans

Try this site, you can get free SMS by watching free video's. Not too well up on Java technology, but maybe this site is what you are looking for. www.globe7.com
