How do you describe a world that has peace? Will there always be wars? If there is no peace at home how can we have peace in the world? There is so much hatred and death. There will only be world peace if people learn to love and accept and help each other.

A world of peace is a world of service for others and humility. If we think of others better than ourselves then we would look after their welfare and keep ourselves fit to be of service for them as well.
With the events going around us today, it may be hard to perceive a peaceful world but we can start it within us and hope to help others realize it within them as well. If we don't see its effect now, it will continue on with others who would appreciate the pursuit of peace that we took and our labor to persevere peace will never be in vain.

There is humility in Wisdom. Egoism is the root cause of all greed and evil of this world. Those who are seated in power do not want to get down. They trample the economy and leave the country poorer than when they started. The citizens in general suffer. A nation is robbed by corruption.

In the current scenario achieving world peace is very very difficult. For real world peace to arise there needs to be a collective responsibility that all the countries need to think about. It has to weight both economic as well as emotional aspects before decisions are taken and that kind of an ideology would take ages to develop.
Communism was a lame attempt at doing the same, but when people at powerful positions started getting corrupt, the whole system collapsed. Capitalism is driven by greed and hence would never succeed in bringing world peace as the rich get richer and the poor gets poorer.
Cheers!

Do you think Democracy is a window dressing that needs an Overhaul. Peace can only be achieve if world leaders will put down their Weapons of Mass Destruction. The Answer for Peace is in the Bible, but few will take the step to follow - Jesus instruction of Peace.

I started a discussion a few days ago about manners, and how each and every one of us should learn to respect others. The same applies here, leaders must respect other country's cultures and religions, and cannot invade them because they think only their system is right. Most world leaders think more about themselves than their country. They make decisions based on the next election rather than what is best.
