have you ever helped with katrina relief?

hey all, i just wanted to see how many people went to new orleans or mississippi to do katrina relief. i went to kiln mississippi in january and i loved helping them. i met some amazing people who has some really inspiring stories. when i went to kiln, i mainly worked in pearlington. it was such a great experience and even though people have nothing left, they are determined to get their lives back on track or start new paths and new beginnings. people who lost everything were still rich in faith and hope that people like me and my friends would come down and get to know them and feel inspired to lend a hand. it was truly a sacrificial trip and i couldnt be more happier to have gone down and helped people out. i'd love to hear some stories of your experiences! thanks, petriellog2
