The Orpington Sisters

Gossiping ol' Hens - Buff Orpingtons are one of my very favorite living yard ornaments, here a small group of them gather together at the sunken kiddie pool for a refreshing drink and doing what hens do best, gossiping about the guinea I am sure!

I love this silly little photograph. A few of the Buff Orpington gals hanging around the local watering hole, gossiping away - one of course has to keep a look out to make sure no-one is eaves dropping. I am on a captioning kick ( as you might notice if you look at my other postings recently) what clever caption would you use for this one?

I know what they're saying...they're arguing about who's going to jump into the water first, but none of them want to go in because its too cold! *LoL*

I've missed MyLot, but I guess I was suffering from the infamous burn-out. That and the fact that I was super busy and didn't have much time to hang out here. But I'm back now. :)

Oh they're just beautiful! We have one Buff Orpington in our flock, she is as sweet as can be. :) They're totally bickering over who hogged the last worm without sharing.
