are ur grandparents still alive?

my grandparents have both passed away peacefully. i remember all the good times i shared with them when i was younger

my paternal grandmother passed away last year so i have none of my grandparents alive now! as for my relationship with my grandparents well it was never actually a close one especially in the case of my grandparents from my father's side. my grandfather used to be very strict so it was more of a fear that i used to feel in his prescence instead of closeness..and i was never able to understand my grandmother's nature:) and on my mother's side my grangfather passed away long ago before i was born and my grandmother was nice but she lived in another city(faraway) so i never could really get a chance to get close to her!

i lost three out of four grandparents.i have one grandmother left.she is in the nursing home right now and believe or not she loves it there.

My maternal grandmother is the only still alive.

I have lost three grandparents two from my father's side and one from my mother's. I am close with my grandmother but i can say iam closer with ny great grand mother who will be turning 119 soon.

my granddad just passed away last october 2006 after a terrible typhoon in the philippines. it was a very sad day for me since i had this good news to him -- that i am going abroad -- and he hasnt heard that. but my grandmom is still alive and strong, and im praying that when i come home, she will still be there to get me from the airport.

my grandparents in both sides of my mom and dad aren't alive anymore. i haven't gotten the chance to be so close to them. but we have good and nice pictures together when i was still a kid. i miss them, too at times.

My grandfathers have passed away but I had never net them and my grandmothers are still alive but I have only seen then twice in my life. I never really had grandparents close to me. I think that is why I love watching my kids with their grandparents.

I lost both of my grandfathers by the age of 5 but I still have really good memories of both of them. I lost my grandma on my mom's side a little over a year ago and miss her so much. I still have my grandma on my dad's side and I'm extremely close to her. She's almost like my mother, but last Sept. she went into a nursing home because she kept falling. I still visit her 4 or 5 times a week and will be lost when she passes away.

I'm afraid all of my grandparents have now passed. I lost my last living grandmother 3 years ago. I miss them all as each had something special they offered to me besides their love. Because of that I often wish that my children and grandchildren could have known them all or known them better. I pray that I will be the kind of grandmother to my 5 grandchildren as mine were to me.

My paternal Grandmother is still alive and kicking at 93

i have my grandparents still intact. i love them so much! lot of fun memories with them.

Yup, both grandma's on both sides (mom and dad) are still alive, nut both my grandpa's are gone.

My mom's parents are with the Lord's place already too, while my dad's parents are in hawaii.

I still have a few that are alive. I lost a great grandmother and a grandfather when I was a teen. i don't have a good relationship with one set of grandparents - but then again, I don't think they notice, they have never cared about me.

Nope, all of my grandparents, father and mother side are all resting in peace..Of course, i do really missed them a lot. Specially my grandfather (mother side), his one of my closest since birth. I grow up in their house until the age of 8yrs. old. He makes me so spoiled, he gave all what i wanted but i never took advantage because i do love him.

only my mom's mom is alive all the other three are gone.they all passed away when i was a kid so i do not have any memory about the time i have spend with them. but i miss them all very much if they were alive my life wold have been so so different

Only my paternal grandpa passed away 4 years ago. He was a good man. I had good memories about him. My 3 year old son looks like him and runs like him LOL. My other grandparents are still alive. My spouse's maternal grandmother is 96 years old, still independant and as healthy as a bee! His other grandparents passed away a long time ago.

Both my grandfather's are resting in peace since the 1980s whereas both my grandmother's are going pretty strong. This is a true case of females outliving the males. I too share a lot of great memories with my grandparents. Cheers! Ram
