I'm filipina and I eat halo halo whenever I like, not just summertime. It's soo good! I live in the US and we often go to the Hong Kong Supermarket because my spouse likes to cook. They have a Philippine section there where all the goodies are located. I always make sure there's a jar of halo halo mix at home :-)

Yes i do, especially with ice cream on top. It is so reshing and relaxing when you eat halo-halo. When you visit Philippines try our delicacy "halo-halo". I'm sure you will like it.

I love halo-halo. I eat halo-halo even if it's not summer season. I love it specially if the ice is really shaved well. I love the nata de coco, leche flan, ube, the sweet beans and lots of mild. And oh, don't forget that yummy scoop of ice cream on top. Chowking's halo halo used to be the best not till their halo halo became so commercial. Now, I like Razon's Halo-halo. But if you're looking for a gret halo halo within QC, you might want to go to a resto called Little Quiapo. It's just almost behind the Quezon City Circle within Philcoa. Taxi drivers know the place well. Enjoy!

If you love much of halo-halo, I suggest you eat at 'chowking'. They serve halo-halo with too much ingredients in it, as in too hard to handle!;)
I have a friend who was a manager at this fastfood chain, and she always treats us with their special halo-halo whenever we visit her. I always try to eat all of it up, but I easily get used of it's too much sweetness. We also have here the best halo-halo in the entire philippines, here in Bacoor, Cavite. The popular 'Digman halohalo', which also has alot of ingredients in it and is more affordable -around 15 to 30 pesos per glass.
I also like some 'saba con hielo', especially when banana is tenderly cooked..
