Idea people are asking to submit the photo identity

I use a Idea prepaid connection in India.When i purchased the sim card i had submitted all the required documents to them.
recently the idea people have started calling me and asking me to submit the documents all over again or else they would disconnect my line.
what is my fault if they did not take care of those documents that i had submitted. why this inconveinience to the customer.
some of my friends also have reported such incidents
have you also gone through such a harrasment

Of course it is their fault!
If they have already taken the documents from you, they are being irresponsible by losing them and asking you to resubmit. These frustrating cases are not THAT common yet they are not that rare either.
You should definitely write in to complain - chances are you might be compensated for the trouble and inconvenience caused. :P
