I travelled with my friend to Holland when I was 17. At 18 I worked in Finland as an au pair. The family had three houses, one in the town, on in the countyside and one by a cool lake. The lakeside place had a lovely sauna. After that I travelled around Europe on my own. I got the trabvel bug! At 20 I went round the world, mostly to Australia on a working holiday.

I started to travel by my own at the age of 18. It was the first time I took that journey to came back home during college holidays. I love travelling so much and I am grateful I can do it myself.

i was 18 and enjoyed a wonderful trip thru spain, all by myself, by train. i was not very fluent in the language but my pocket dictionary was of great help. since then, i've been travelling all around, alone or in couple. and i still recommend travelling by train, a good way to get to know people and their country.

I have done a lot of school trips at a very young age but at the age of 18 I went all alone to a different state for my graduation and since then there is no looking back as I just can't count how many trips I have completed all by myself. By the way what was your age when you first traveled all by yourself.

I've taken a lot of school trips without my parents before but I'm sure that didn't count since there were teachers watching us. I took my first real trip without supervision when I was 18. I flew to Cali. :D
