Even if they only show up for food, they do love us and thank us for feeding them. Why would they come back to you for more food and sit around a while let you stroke them, if not because they thank you for being so kind. I used to have 7 cats coming in and out of the house, and 4 lived indoors with their kittens. They can find their own food, but since you feed them, they do thank you.

Yes - of course they do. Animals probably love more than human beings do. They are simple, honest creatures, and there is no "side" to them - they love unconditionally, and if you show them love, they give you total loyalty, respect, and love in return.

surely animals will love peoples...
even i am also having one dog and one cat... they are really really loves me.... without my pets i cant........
