I was shocked to see a video on CNN a few minutes ago showing toddler smoking pot. Video shows teens persuading the boys, who are "falling around" • Teenage uncle and his roommate are charged in the case • Authorities found the video in a camera confiscated as stolen • Police: Apparently not the first time the teens encouraged the kids to smoke pot My question is how do you think these people should be punished?? http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/03/04/pot.kids/index.html

OMG..This is really quite disturbing..I'd kill anyone who does that to my kids...This is too much...God I wanted to go inside the screen and hit those guys so bad they'll never see daylight again..The mother should be held liable to this also because this was happening in her house and she wasn't aware of??God,I am so mad the keys in my keyboards are about to come off from my typing hard...This really gave me a headache..Those teens should be jailed for life and never let out..The kids should be taken by the child services so they are better taken care off..God...I am really pi$sed..

There is no excuse for those teens. I think that they should be punished with a few years atleast in prison. This is so far above my comprehension. What is going on in this world? I saw it on the news, and was in shock. There really is no excuse for this at all.

In Scotland they get of with such bad behaviour , they can;t do anything to them legally until certain age so they just keep repeating the crimes , I get so disgusted at time , the should get severely punished , No wonder the world is going mad , they literally do " get off with murder" as my dad would say xx

I did not see this on the news, a friend of mine told me about it. I think it is horrible! The punishment must fit the crime, so what ever the punishment is for fealers should be the punishment for these teenagers. Thay must pay the price and learn a t a young age right from wrong. It is so sad fot the babies that this happened to. They are so innocnet and have no idea it is wrong to smoke pot.

This seems like more than just a case of child abuse to me. Pot destroys brain cells. If you are an adult and choose to smoke pot and destroy your own brain cells and it is legal, so be it. But to do harm to children whose little brains are still growing is criminal. Whatever the punishment these teens receive it will not be enough - though I'm betting the outrage this has caused with the public will force the justice system to do more than slap them on the wrists. If the powers that be don't do something, then some vigilante will do worse. I was absolutely disgusted by this when I saw it on TV last night. I do not want to see the video again. It makes me sick to my stomach. Those poor, innocent children. Gawd! If it was my children they'd need 20 cops to hold me back from killing those buggers!

They should definitely be doing jail time! For one, they are giving an illegal substance to minors and two,I'd think they could even be charged with child abuse.....this is what this is.....one forcing a minor to do something they don't want to.....I definitely think they should get jail time!

I heard that on the news. That is just insane. What is wrong with kids these days. The kid was only two years old for cryiing out loud. Then the other kid was smoking it and what was he 5 years old or something like that? I'm not suprised by anything these days. It's just so rediculous they way teens are out of hand.

I too saw this and was shocked. Why would these teens do this? For starters it's against the law- and very dangerous! Especially for toddlers. Where are the parents? I think I read sleeping (during the day). I think they should serve time for this. Endangering the welfare of a child-- The biggest crime-- smoking pot-- another crime. How much time? I don't know-- 1 year .. teach them a lesson! How very sickening!

That is just effing disgusting. You know, i don't hae a problem with people smoking pot responsibly, but a child should NEVER be exposed to it like that. Of course a toddler is going to do as theirbig brother says. They look up to them! i am just glad it was pot instead of something more harmful like acid or heroin.

This is totally unacceptable.I am really shocked too. Gosh how can they do that to kids. I would request some serious long punishment. Those teens have obviously no respect for themselves and no respect for anybody else around them. Where is the world going! Teens like them require serious discipline actions in my opinion they should be cut down from any existing form of fun, and tought a little about respect to each other and to the society they live in.

That is awful. I can't believe some stupid teens would do that especially to their own family. What could they have possibly been thinking. I know they should be punished but I'm not sure how.

It does not suprise me at all Whiteheather and it is such a shame. We both know if drastic measures are not taken see it will get a lot worse. The Goverment is just not taking any notice of how bad it is getting. Soon they will giving it to babies if that is not happening already.

If the teenagers are under 18 years, they should be sent to a juvenile lock up. This is digusting, and a gross neglect of human rights. Evidently they have been involved in theft too. So that can be addedd to the term they spend in a juvenile facility. Perhaps their parents can be fined too.

I think the adults who are responsible for the toddler and the teens shoudl also be held responsible. They should know the responsibility level of the children before they leave their baby in their care!
