Windows Vista

I teach, and work with, computers...and I tend to like my toys and new programs and so on BUT given Microsoft's history of releasing buggy software and then a multitude of fixes to follow, I am not at all inclined to jump on board too quickly. I won't bother with Vista until I have to - either when I buy a new computer, or when enough of my customers get it that I need to. Most computers purchased in the last few years will have at least the basic requirements, but from what I've heard so far, unless you have more than the basics, you're likely to find it slower - so it won't feel like much of an improvement over xp
