Has a child asked you a question that was very hard to answer?

Something like "is there God?" or "Who is God?" or why is the sky blue and leaves green. What did they ask you? What was your answer? How did you answer them? Did they accept your answer as that or did it just leave to more questions?

if your child ask that it's good, because their cognitive have grown nomally and your child has good attitude in live their leaving on. how to answer that is depend on your knowledge don't lie to them, if you don't know the answer just told them you don't know or you can say like "It's intresting question let's we find together the answer". Some child ask question that not suite with their age, i nomally say that when you are 18 or 17 or (what ever age that you think they are ready about the knowledge) you will tell them and tell them not to worried about that.. i hope this can help a little bit thanks

for example like you said when your child is ask you why grass is green and you dont know it, find with him/her the answer, i guess you have PC with internet connection, that make more easyer. for question him/her ask that not suitable with age like how get pregnent when come the right time you must tell him/her but before that tell them must wait for that time, if they still want to know (usually child like that) just tell went woman and man married their will have children, when you married you will have children too.. i hope this help a little bit

I encountered a very difficult question from my student before when I was pregnant. My student ask me how does a woman get pregnant. My student was just 8 years old and I dont know how to answer him. So I said that later he can understand but this time I couldn't give him the answer. Do you think its good to answer him like that?

According to some people I've asked, it's better to answer the child truthfully but without going much into details. One of the people I asked said "Because daddy put a baby in mommy that's why mommy's pregnant"

well, the sky is blue because of the nitrogen in the atmosphere. leaves are green because of the chlorphyll. :D As far as "is there a God" goes, I don't discuss religion in my classroom, so I would tell them that that is something their parents should answer for them, as it is not my place to impose my thoughts on something that is based upon opinion.
