it doesnt matter! i love ALL dogs! i just cant seem to get enough these adorable creatures. even the flea ridden street mongrel gets my affections. i dunno why, but ever since i was a kid i have always loved dogs. we even got our pet dog from the streets. my sis just picked up a pup and brought it home and ever since he's been an integral part of our family. i dont know his breed for sure, but he looks like a chinese pup to me. but if i had to chose a favourite dog, it would have to be the dachshund. the way these petite canines trot around makes me love them even more! they are way to cute to look at and grreat to carry around!

Certainly you'll get answers that state Breed, size, color, temperment, etc. and it is what you want to know I assume. For me MY FAVE is whatever DOG I happen to have, when I have them. I've had animals in my life, ALL my life, and none were ever judged by Breed, though I did raise "Dals" for a few years. I've also only PURCHASED two dogs in my life, A male and female "DAL" any others were rescues/adopted, and my latest, a female Wolf/Chow, is my FAVE NOW! The Q,,,no offense, is kinda like trying to decide on a Human "BEST FRIEND"....why is that necessary? It suggests judgements, and often not based on experiences. I know of some of the most REPORTEDLY dangerous breeds of Dogs, that are as sweet, loveable, loyal, and "beautiful" as any I've ever seen at "WestMinister" shows. In that same breath, I've also KNOWN the cutest little trendy dogs who would inflict any wounds they could. Isn't it too, about how WE "FIT" to them as much? What they want, especially as domesticated animals, is what we want as domesticated Humans, to be cared for and about. They seem to be at a disadvantage in that they can't shop for their food, or open a can, but they wait, even without EXPECTING,,,for US to oblige them. Unlike humans, they usually LOVE unconditionally. Strike your dog on the hind quarters, even yell at the dog for DOING BUSINESS ON YOUR NEW CARPET, I suspect once you've cleaned it up, or even during the process, you might feel a warm tongue licking your face. I do all I'm able for my pets, even to sacrifice my WANTS, and primarily because "I" invited them into "MY" life. Steven Wolf
