How often do you see your parents?

i am married with two little kids and i am very busy but i visit my parents every week ans so does my sister and brothers. they are the most precious thing in our lives and this is the least we can do for them.

My parents live about 14 hours away from us. We don't get to see them very often, and when we do see them, it is never long enough. Especially since the boys came along, it seems like it's too long before we get to see them. They have been coming here alot recently because my sister lives close by to me too. So we saw them about 4 months ago, and we'll see them in about 3 or 4 more months. We were supposed to head up there for vacation, but won't be able to this year. IT's the first time I haven't gone home to visit since I've moved away (7 years ago now), So that's really hard on me, but next year we'll go and that will be nice.

My parents live about 4 hours away and I usually see them 2 or 3 times a year. I think it works fine for me, but I would like for them to see their grandson more. He's growing so much and I'd like for him to get to know them. My DH's parents live about 5 miles away and we see them at least once a week. I try to make it a point to take DS over there to play for a couple hours a week at the minimum too. He loves seeing them.

I'm fortunate to live close to my parents, but not too closeLOL! They live only 5 minutes away and I usually visit them 1 or 2 times a week. I talk to my mom on the phone 4-5 times week.

I try my best to see my parents and family whenever I have free time. Since I started college I only get to see them during the weekends, but this is not on a regular basis, it still depends on my workload in school. They are my security blanket and so I really try and show them how much I appreciate them. I think that just by meeting them as much as possible will let them know this.

I am fortunate enough to still live fairly close to my parents where I can see them regularly. I usually visit my parents once a week, sometimes twice a week. We usually have breakfast together on saturday mornings and sometimes we go to church together. My brother and sister live further away so they are not able to visit our parents as much. Sometimes I will go away on vacation with my parents as well.

I see my parents about once a week. We don't see the inlaws quite as often, although they don't live very far away, mostly because I work evenings and weekends.

Well I still live with one of them so yeah almost all the time

I did not saw my parents for almost two years coz they are too far from me but next month me and my family were go for a vacation to visit them so right now i am so excited.We visit my mother in-law at least once a month.

i always see my mom since she lives right across the street. but my dad on the other hand i havent seen him in a long time since he is in another state and in and out of jail. he was released and just got put back in. he didnt go to my wedding and he has never seen his first grandson, first grandbaby i should say.

just moved back with my parents so i see them every day but i must say i did not live at home since the age of seventeen and then i saw them between once to twice on a month

i live with my parents . so i have the opportunity to see them each and every day. although my father work in a far away city he use to come home every now and the that is twice or thrice a week. and my mother is house wife.

I live right next door to my mom and step father, so I see them on a daily basis, but my dad and step mother live in a different province and I only see them about 3 times a year.

I see my mother every single day. Mind you, it's like I seek her out or anything, but I see her every single day. If she calls me and I don't answer the phone, she will come over to my house to find out why I didn't answer the phone. We currently live just under 2 miles from my mother's house. My grandmother lives with my mother, so I get to see her almost every single day too. The only time I got a break from seeing my mother every day was when I moved in with my boyfriend (now hubby) and we lived almost 15 miles away from her. She doesn't like to drive in areas that she is not familiar with so...she didn't come over if I didn't answer the phone. Then when I got married, we moved to another town and it was like a 30 minute drive from her so I only saw her if I went over to her house, maybe once a month, but she called me every day, I love answering machines. Then I had a baby and all of a sudden my mother could drive to my house every single day. There is such a thing as seeing your parents too much. I know because I live it every day. I love my mom, but I would really like to limit our visits to maybe twice a week for a few hours each. I am a grown woman with my own family and my own house. I do not need to entertain my mother for hours on end every single day. To answer your question of how often do I see my parents...too often.

Right now, I'm in university and live on campus so I would see my parents maybe once every 2 weeks? Sometimes I would go home every weekend depending if I have a lot to study. If I had my own house, I would want to live reasonably close to my parents - no more than a 30 min drive. I would want to visit them every weekend for sure, and maybe drop by for dinner every few days.

I haven't seen my Dad in 4 years. I am a little afraid to see how we both have changed! He has just been too far away and timing and money are always tight. Now he is moving halfway across the US and I feel that I won't see him for even longer. My mom, on the other hand, lives the next town over. It is perfect because we can get together easily, but we don't really cross paths unless we mean too! That is plenty close enough for me! Dinner once a week or so is just about right.
