Dear kaplya I would like to tell you my experience here -- Ond day I guess I started just -- 1 or 2 discussions and haven't got so much replies to them .. I responded to 38 - 40 discussions and that reply was not a one liner .. it has atleast 5 - 6 lines and it makes sense. So I waited for the next day for the earning to get updated and I found that I exactly made $1 in that day. So there is nothing wrong if you won't start your own discussion and respond to other's discussion.. Take your time to think about how should you start your discussion and when you get some idea in your mind then go ahead. You know you have many friends who will definitely respond to your discussions.. One more thing -- whenever u start discussions -- do remember to add image -- it gives $0.01 for uploading that image. Hello kaplya. I normally post one thread a day and had received a fair numbers of responses. From this one thread and posting about 30 to 40 responses, my earnings will be over $2. Your earnings from posting a single discussion will start rolling once you generate 10 responses. If you posted about 50 to 60 long liners responses, you will also have good earnings. I'm not very active lately and had limited posting my to about 2 discussions a week only. I tried to catch up on my friend's discussions as well and so far, my earnings is still good. Just keep trying and you will see the day that you will have good earnings too. Good luck.

Maybe your borther has had referals sign up is why he's earning more. But the responding vs starting discussions debate isn't any set one. You make from 1 to 3 cents per discussion started and I believe 1 cent per response. As far as posting photos you earn 1 cent for each. But that.s for photos added to discussions you start. Thats included in the above 1 - 3 cents. You dont earn for posting photos on your own page. Hope this helped some. If I'm wrong along any lines I'm sure I'll be corrected. I'm a poor poster of discussions as well. I will think of a subject and then do a search of myLot and find 10 discussions on the same subject!! I did read somewhere that you really start to earn on your discussions when you have had 10 responses or more - can't proove it though. I have to say that although I earn over $10 a month (and I really have been paid - thanks myLot!) my referrlas help me a lot. I just enjoy being here and chatting - the cents are an extra for me. By the way, I love your avatar!!
