I feel so good when I help others :-) It is very difficult to express in words but I feel so much more alive.
There was a recent incident where I help a blind man with a white stick to look out for his bus at a bus-stop. That feeling is fantastic!
There are also many others who are more unwilling to help. Their reasons could be
1) too caught up with their own life to notice others
2) do not know how to help as they have not helped before
3) too shy to help
4) do not wish to help if there are no benefits
5) I need more help than others, please help me first...
Everything starts with ourselves first. If everybody wait for somebody, in the end, nobody will help anybody. If everybody is willing to do something out of their own will, then our country or world will be a better place to live in. Give and we shall receive much more.
Do we help others or wait for others to help us FIRST?

Very wise :-)
We can imagine that the world we are living in will be a much better place if more people are willing to help others. Let's do our little bit by inspiring others around us to be more helpful.
Cheers!

If someone needs my help as long as I can do it, I'll help him. I'll also feel happy if I can help others. I really believe in Karma and life after life.

Hi there, nice to know someone who likes to help people.
Helping is a vast category. Sometimes when you think you are helping them , they might not thought so.
For example.
I think I am helping you. Responding is a way of helping in Mylots. What do you feel? Am i helping you?

Hi Kirokiro,
I agree with you that helping is a vast category. As long as we are genuinely helping others from our heart, we will feel good about it. Other people will not know but we will know whether we are really helping others or have other ulterior motive.
In this particular discussion, I am focusing on the benefits of the receiving party.
I am very thankful for your response to my discussion and YES you are helping me :-)

yes, i used to help others who are really in need without expecting something in return. i hate to see people laughing to someone being hurt, it is where my being compassionate appears...
with my present job, i used to entertain complaints from our employees and their wives and i always help them in whatever way i can...
