In world championship last summer they played surprisingly well. I didn't expect something so good from them. So, perhaps they have a chance. I don't believe it happens in next world cup, though (LOL!)

Wining in world cup of USA will be happen because they have hot prospect young player such as Adu.May be in 2018 you will see it.All impossible is happen.

You never know... Look at Greece, for example. Did you ever think they can win the European Championship?

USA soccer has been developing quickly after 94 wolrd cup as we could see in the france ,japan and germany.USA has the best training system in the world, everything can be done well effectively if they want, look at how fit the ateletes are in the track and field. There are also many talents in sports which will be great assets for growth of soccer development. More and more world class players move to USA (althoguh beckham only at this moment) , I believe there will be more later, the standard of soccer will be improved. Every teams will have their chances, just look at how the Dream team basketball team dominated in the past and what happen in Athens 2004..It simply told you the standard of those 'underdog' are kept improving ... USA is an underedog in soccer but its development cannot be underrated....It will have chance to win the world cup somedays latr, may not be next 4 years,,,may be 10,20.....

I don``t think that they will ever reach the top 10 of the FIFA-ranking. Even if soccer develops well en fast in the US, we should`nt forget dat the developments in the top-10 countries also will go on. More US-players should play in strong competitions to gain more experience.
