I am learning guitar. Am entirely new to this. How do u pluck the strings. my question is " While beginnig did u see the fret board to locate a particular notation or concentrate on strings.. I am asking this bcoz I mess up the thing if i concentrate on fret board. So i look at strings. Suggest me some sites that is good for beginners like me.

Interesting topic since I know how to play guitars myself. I have forgotten how i learned to pluck strings since I have learned guitar by myself only. I just checked out some sites with guitar chords and tabs and tried to understand what it says. Its hard and difficult at first thats why its better if you have some instructor or something. I guess in the beginning, i placed my fingers on the fret board and tried to locate the particular note.. after that, thats the time i try strumming the strings.. then i do both.. its a step by step process. its easy to look at yet sort of complicated at first. But you'll totally enjoy it and feel good about yourself. I did. I cant remember those sites but i can only suggest you this site which has lots of guitar chords and tabs.
