Ganguly should take up the captaincy....if rahul fails in thw world...........

ganguly should not become the captain again. his game suffers because of that. and rahul is not a bad captain either. he is brainy and shrewd enough to be the captain of the team. and his form doesn't take a dip, when he is the captain, which is most important.

i dont think rahul is shrewd...he is like a puppet in chappels hand......he is not even backing up his team mates........its true to some extend his form has not fallen, but he is not responsible and aggresive.......captains should be agressive like ponting and smith......ganguly was like that....but he did not play role like don, what ever...he even supported his players..and took all the responsibility

Hey Jay give time to Dravid.I thk if he fails then give captaincy to any other young player like Dhoni or yuvraj

well dravid has not rise upto the expectations of the common people as a captain that was being expected frm him.....according to me the captanicy should be handover to some one more prominent in this field.......welll all that depends on the way dravid manages the worldcup.....

Well, dravid too is not that bad.
But as you rightly said the agressive talent of Ganguly can not be ignored and is a good quality rather when it comes to tournament like world-cup.
But flood is over and the senario has been changed. Ganguly I think has lost his credentials with
the selection team, I think they may not do this change.
One thing is sure If ganguly shows a good performance
in this 2007 world cup then every one has to admire
and allow him in future.

ganguly should take the captaincy
he have good communication skills
he is the motivator for our team
he always motivated the team in bad circumstances
he promoted team spirit
he is aggressive
rahul is also a nice player
he also have everything but he is of cool nature
if we talked abt performance
then it happened with sachn also
when he took the captaincy
his performace also went down
it happened with dravid also
so y did saurav suffered only

dravid is nt a rite person to have leadership....... so ganguly must be given up the captaincy whether india performs well or nt in the world cup if his performance is upto the mark.. he should get back wat he has lost in the past
