How many of you have visited India? Or plan to visit India for tourism this year? If so, which places do you plan to cover?
Cheers!

I read and heard so much about the beauty of Kerala, so my biggest dream is to go there and stay for longer time, maybe one year, maybe longer.
I really would love to have the real source of information,
how much money a month is needed for two people to be able to rent modest but comfortable place and support themself .
Can you recommend some good sources ?
thanks

In India in most places you can find a decent house for roughly around Rs. 7000/-. Depending on the food that you eat, you monthly food and grocery expenses would be around Rs. 2000-3000/-. But, tourism in Kerala is expensive, so for any packages of 2 days you might be spending around 1500/- per package.
So if you are in US, you can take the exchange rate of 1 US$ = 44 Rs. and make your calculations. Let me know if you need any more details on this.
Cheers!
