I believe they are such things as an honest politician. I believe you can find them holding a position at the bottom part of the pyramid of power. I believe that in order for a politician to actually get anywhere in his political career he needs to deal with corrupt people in power. Long term dealings with this shady characters will reap good political rewards but in the end corrupt the 'honest' politician in the end.

I agree with you. It really is very difficult to beat fraud by honest means. So even the most honest of men get corrupted by power.

well... i believe majority of the politicians are not really sincere about their service... and many of them are just there to advance their own interest.
but then i have high hopes with chiz escudero one of the senatoriables for this coming philippine election 2007... As far as i know.. he has no really big genuine issues of corruption.
its just my opinion though.

I don't think there's such a thing as honest politicians, but I'm more than happy with my current goverment here in Denmark, so it's all good :-)

ya,,,i also hate politicians with all those corruptions issues and evrything....for 28th years of my life i haven't seen even 1 good politicians who's concern for the poor people

nor have I!! No politician I've seen cares for anything other than filling up their coffers.
