Have you ever had a doughnut with maple syrup frosting and bacon on it?

I was watching tv the other night and this chef went to a doughnut shop and they had this doughnut. It sounded kind of gross at first, but then he tried it and said he was hooked. He tried to go back to the shop the next day to get another one, because they were so good. When I started thinking about it, it's really no different then having pancakes with syrup and your bacon on a plate. So has anyone ever had a doughnut like this?

i have never tried this too, lilybug. in fact, such a food preparation involving a doughnut and some bacon, it has never ever crossed my mind at all. however, considering that the chef has been coming back for more of this food, it must be so good tasting and soooo mouthwatering. perhaps, it will be worth a good try preparing one in order to have a taste of this heavenly food, too.

No, I haven't, but, you're right, it's the same as pancakes, syrup and bacon. I don't think I'll try one though.

Beats a big syrupy mess. And would be great for those that eat on the go. I would love to try this. Might catch on and we will be having it in stores allover someday.

no, i have never ever tried eating a doughnut with bacon on it. neither have i ever had a taste of dough nut which goes with some syrup with it. yes, this is odd considering that this is the first time ever that i have come across such a food preparation involving some dough nuts.
but as per your description of the product tastewise, it much be mouthwatering. to be able to make that chef look forward to having some more bites of the preparation day after day, that must be a mighty good tasting delicacy.

I can honestly say i have not tried this and im not planning on trying it either it sounds gross, i also would not eat pancakes with bacon and syrup.
