Time alone

I need what may be considered and inordinate amount of time alone to feel "normal". With my children, grandchild, and my job, I spend an enormous amount of energy doing for others. If I don't have time alone, I get very cranky and anxious. Even just 24 hours, when my girls are with their father, can revitalize me.... What about you?

oh I feel the same way. no matter how late it is I must have time alone before I go to bed or I get crancky. if I go out at night and come home late I must first have a cup of decaff and some solitude before going to bed. even just 1/2 hour but being with people all day long and not having alone time to think isn't good for me

whatever it is , I think those of us who know ourselves and what we need should take the time to nurture ourselves.

Everyone needs some time out for themselves. I find that I need to sit quietly alone for a while, just to recharge my batteries and get my breathe back. When things get really busy and life is getting to me, that's the time to take a step back and rest

I think if one does not practice saying "No" it just gets worse and harder to make time for yourself...
