What steps work best in preventing Seasickness?

My brother has Seasickness and he is scared to go on a sailing trip next week beacuse of his experience last time (where he was vomiting and said he had a headache). So you guys have any tips of what we should try? Or what has worked the best in the past? We are open to anything at this time. Thanks in advanced I appreciate it.

They do sell sea sickness/motion sickness medication to take before one goes sailing that would help. Dramamine is a good one to use. They also have some bracelets they sell that are supposed to use accupressure on the wrist to help with sea sickness/motion sickness. I don't know how well the bracelets work but it might be a possiblity for him if he doesn't want to take medication.
