What is the craziest thing you´ve ever done due to sleep-deprivation?

When my son was very little, I hadn´t slept for more than an hour at a time in weeks. In the middle of the night, he woke up and I started to make his bottle and fell asleep leaning on the edge of his crib. When his screams woke me up, I handed him the bottle and fell back into bed. My husband got up a bit later and discovered that I had given the baby a bottle with just formula powder in it! I was so sleepy, I forgot to add water.

I had to laugh! When my sons, twins, were still nursing I woke up once thinking that there was a baby still in bed with me! I coulcn't find him and was extremely distraught until I looked in the crib and they were both there sleeping away. I must have been on auto pilot when I put him back in the crib.

I did that before too! I thought I rolled over on my son and I started freaking out thinking I killed him! My husband thought it was funny as H#LL.

Lol at the situation! I couldn't remember any crazy experience due to lack of sleep but I can relate that of my husbands'. Our eldest child (she's 9 years old now) was such a cry baby that we couldn't really get enough sleep every night. But the good thing is, we take turns caring for the child. He would let me sleep two hours and then it would be he who would sleep and so on. At one point, he might have been too dreaming or he might have been too protective but suddenly, he raised his hand. I thought he was going to scratch himself but he didn't. He slapped the baby's cheek instead, with eyes closed, because he dreamt he was slapping a mosquito. But it wasn't done that hard; otherwise the baby would have been bruised.

That could have been disasterous! I have done the same sort of thing, dreaming awake that there are insects and things in the bed. I used to make my husband get up and out of bed because I dreamt there was a snake or a whole bunch of red ants in the bed. The one time there really was a centipede, he didn´t believe me and went back to sleep!

My daughter was about 4 weeks old and my partner works nights so i have no help with her i had not slept properly since she was born, she hated her moses basket and i found i got more sleep if i put her to bed next to me in my bed..we have a huge bed so its not a problem, one night i put her to bed in her basket and fell asleep, an hour later i woke to hear her crying and forgot id put her in her basket, i was franticly searching the bed the floor and under the bed for my baby until i woke properly and realised the crying was coming from her moses basket...what a wolly lol

One evening I made myself a turkey and mayonnaise sandwich for dinner. I was too tired to try and make anything in the oven so I just stuck with a basic sandwich and some chips. After I ate I fell asleep on the couch. I woke up the next morning around 8 AM and I open the fridge and I notice the bread is lying on the shelf. Then I open the pantry and there is the mayonnaise and turkey! Ooops!

Fall asleep on my husband while making love is one of them. Fell asleep in the doctors office and when they knocked on the door i told them to go away i was sleeping. I will probably have a lot more to come up with here in 3 weeks when my daughter is born, which my son will only 15 months so i will be losing A LOT of sleep, so keep checking to see if i post anymore!
