What is a worthwhile way to use your life?

The fact that we will all eventually die can make anything we do with our lives seem pretty pointless. Is there anything really worthwhile that one can do with their life. Should we aim to just get as much pleasure out of it as possible, should we try to make a difference in the world, should we aim to be immortalised through our work, or is all of that pointless too?

As a matter of fact I think everything you mentioned at least is worthwile considering. And, of course, one should aim for all of them, when still young. Probably, upon reaching some age deadline, most of people just concentrate on pleasure, understanding they are not able to get any higher.
P.S. Feel the need to mention your ability start disussions which make people burn their brains over quite above average IQ topics.

The thought had occured to me.
Sometime ago, I would have said, depends on your faith and weather or not you believe in an after life, judgment day, pusnishment or paradise..etc.
That aside, I know I'm gonna die, regarldess of my faith. And having this big @$$ ego of mine, I want to be remembered and imortalized. Just like "Watt or Shakespear".
Reaching that goal won't come easy. One has to work for it and hard. So yes, I want to make a difference in this world, maybe wipe out the whole human race off the face of the earth!!! lol. But I DO hope I can come out with something "good".
Since I changed my atitude, every single second became worth-while.
