Oh my, my kids are normally very well behaved but today they have been at each other in one way or another all day long. Arguing and encouraging each other to break the rules then Arguing more about it. I am about to make them go to bed if they don't stop. Well may not this early, but I think they are about ready to get strong, and do some push-ups the next time they start in on each other.

First off kids will be kids, second if they have the energy to fight and argue then put them to cleaning and they will learn after a few times that fighting and arguing leads to cleaning house and we know all kids hate to clean house when they could be playing.

I hear ya! My two oldest children are 18 months apart and the girl is the oldest at 11 years. There are some days where they're best friends...and other days...whoah mama! I just wanna tie them up and leave them in the desert until they learn to LOVE one another. You gotta remember that children are just like us: they have their good days and they have their bad days. They just need to know that how they are feeling doesn't make them "bad", it just makes it something that they need to learn to control.

lol, When I think about it now, I think my fuse was getting short because I was hungry. Feel better now and they did stop. Know on wood.

Several years ago, I read this article that this woman had written about her two daughters who were into it. She gave each one a bottle of Windex and a cloth and told them to get on opposite sides of this glass door and start cleaning it until she told them that it was clean enough. The sisters started out by making nasty faces at each other while cleaning--and that eventually got them to giggling. By the time they were finished, they were getting along again. I remember how you and Julie used to get into it all of the time--and I also remember a couple of my cousins who seemed to go through times of bickering, but they're very close today. One is married, and the other is a widow, but they'll get together on different occasions and take a road-trip to Kentucky to visit their mother and brother or else will fly out to Vegas for a little gambling. They usually do take separate hotel rooms, because one smokes and the other doesn't, but they still get along famously!

Never punish from anger. If you are not in control then take time to gain it.

At times I feel some ghost enters the kids and they are so full of energy that they do all such kind of things and at times we are more sensitive to what they are doing and find them aggressive while on a normal day we take it casually.

Yeah I can see that maybe I am being more intuned to it today than normally, but normally they get along very well.
