Not getting real searches

I have been a guide for more than a month now. I have gotten nothing but training sessions. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have a dollar sign by one of my keywords, but I never get any real searches. Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening?

You get paid for doing any search that you accept, it doesn't necessarily have to be on your keyword. If you are trying to search when there are lots of other guides on, it could be that they are beating you to the searches. As soon as you hear the bell go off, you need to hit the "accept" button to get the search. Personally, I wait until the later evening hours to run searches. There aren't as many guides on, so you tend to get more searches. Good luck and hang in there, you'll get some searches soon!!

Are you talking about cha-cha? I started to sign up with them but then saw thatyou hav eto be an apprentice for a while and move up before you start getting paid for your searches. Even then, your pay is based on the popularity of your searches, I believe. That all adds up to their quotes of per hour payment being full of holes, in my eyes. There are too many variables attached to your earnings to make the time you put in, worthwhile. During training you have to work for free, and I am not about to do any such thing. It is still my time devoted to their program and I expect to get paid a t least SOMETHING for it that translates into money to pay for the computer being connected to the internet. I have a feeling that alot of folks are just racking up people "downline" and that is how they actually make any money. I could be wrong though. You should write someone at the main site, not others who are working for cha cha, but the owners of the site to find out why you aren't making any headway.

While I understand and respect your opinion, I've had some positive experiences earning with ChaCha. I have people signed up in my "downline", but you only get paid a small percentage of what they make. I've been with ChaCha since January and have managed to make more than enough to cover my Internet costs and phone bill, just on the searches and training sessions that I do alone. I agree that ChaCha has some issues, but overall I've found it an easy way to make some extra money.

I went from apprentice to master in like a half a day and was getting paid. It really doesnt take long at all to where you are getting paid. I only have a couple downline and one isnt even active, so that definately isnt where my money is coming in at.

I started with my invite on Friday. Read up on it while working my other job that day. Didn't do anything on the weekend. Then did actual training on Monday and by Tuesday I was getting paid. So the training is not that long as long as you get good ratings on your trainings which is easy to do if you just take each step at a time.

Just a tip that may be helpful...Make sure that when you do training sessions that you properly categorize your keywords. I wasnt doing this correcly and wasnt getting past the training sessions....once I started searching in the proper categorys I moved up in 1 day.

Have you put up any banners for them yet? I putr their search box on my site, I'm assuming that will draw in more searches from people already on my website and there fore more likely looking for something related to the info on my site. Since I choose key words that I'm familiar with, the searches (I'm assuming) will be more directed towards my search terms.

Are you a pro or a master guide? The dollar sign next to the key word means you start getting paid and you get live paid searches. You will continue receiving training sessions until you master the key word. If you no longer receive a training session on one of your keywords with a dollar sign, then the keyword becomes master. If you still receive training sessions with the keyword that has a dollar sign, it is "pro" working to become a master keyword. When you have a live paid search, you may have searches that has to do with your keyword and searches that are of any topic. The pay is the same. When you have 2 dollar signs next to a keyword, the keyword become elite. When you have a live paid search that has to do with your elite keyword, you receive double pay. Now sometimes when you are pro or master guide, you may have more training sessions than live paid searches and vice versa. When you are an apprentice guide, all you're going to have are training sessions with no live searches. Hope this helps!
