I wish I could give you an answer to this, but I can't. All I can say is that I am Pagan, and I don't hate anybody for their religion. I like people for who they are as a person and as long as they let me follow my own path, without aggression and interference, I'm happy. I don't condone hate between religion. After all, we were all born with a choice and a freedom to make that choice and it shouldn't matter to anybody else, what your choice is, as long as you feel it's the right one for you. I really don't think the hate is borne between the religions but rather by the power seekers, who hide behind their religions, thus bringing the religions to the fore. If only all religions could respect one another's beliefs and let every person go their own way, without putting any doubt or aggression in their way, the world would be a much happier, peaceful place. Oh how I wish that could happen. Brightest Blessings my friend, whatever your religion or race. :-)

I am a white Christian and I know that I do not hate Muslims or blacks. As far as I know, there are no countries that I hate either. What I do hate is the actions of people who kill each other for no reason at all. If all people everywhere would teach their children that killing is wrong--maybe most of the hatred would end.

I agree with you Stringbean, but then, I think it's the power seekers rather than the religions or cultures that cause the problem. Then they hide behind a religion and separate all the cultures and countries in their strive for power.
