do you believe in online love's story?

I have my own online love story. I met my husband online while going to college in Kentucky. I was having a lot of health problems at the time, and I chatted a lot while not able to move around much, so it was a way to spend my time and still get to have some fun. He was in Michigan, and I talked to not just him but a few of his friends. Over time we became very close, though I was talking to other people at the time as well, one of whom I was thinking of being romantically involved with. I finally admitted to one of our mutual online friends (who had moved to Michigan from Oklahoma to be with his best friend, in her own online love story) that I liked him, and things just kind of went from there. I finally wound up with nowhere to live, because my health problems had caused me to lose my college scholarships, and no one in my family would help me out. So I came to Michigan as well, to stay with my now-husband and his friends. It's been almost 8 years since then, and I don't regret that decision, though at the time even I realized the risks involved. I think falling in love online is just as possible as anywhere else. What is important is getting to know each other, and that can be done very well online. Long-distance romance is not a new thing: I've heard many older people talk about lovers that began as pen pals and such.

I met my other half online, he emailed me on myspace, we emailed back and forth several times, then exchanged phone numbers and thigs went from there. We are now living together and planning a wedding. I also have some friends who had long distance online relationships who are now married and goign strong. My other half lived less then 10 minutes from me.

Well, since I met my husband online, yes. I certainly believe in online romance.

as for me love doesn't know any boundaries and limitations. i have my first hand experience of online love and i don't regret being in such relationship. i've never been this much happy and secured in my entire life with a man whom i know by heart that does love me and really do love me more than i love him. and that is something i would not trade off with anything in this world.
