I love to personalize everything that I do. My husband thinks that I am crazy, he does not presonalize anything. I presonalize my yahoo, Iwon and other homepages that I can.I add my own links to sites that I visit and I change my colors depending on the season. I even made my own screen saver for my computer.
If you like to personalize your computer, you will love this tip. Did you know that you can change the link colors in Internet Explorer?
To change your link colors in Internet Explorer,
First Click on Tools,
Then click on Internet Options and this will bring up another box
Then click on Colors (located at the bottom left hand corner of the window on the general tab). Then, click on the link color boxes and change the colors as described above. Click OK and you are all done!
Enjoy your new colors and change them often!

I knew that you could change them but have had no interest in really changing them as it might throw me off and make me thing something is wrong with my computer. LOL I used to personalize the icons on my desktop and I usually change my desktop background frequently. Thank you for the tip should I decide to be creative with that. :-)

Great tip. Yes I love playing around changing stuff too. It can be time consuming but it is addicting. Once I get going look out.

I always personalise the settings and display on my computer. I even use my own icons for My Documents and Recycle Bin rather than use the default ones.
With Windows XP I hate the fact that they place the My Documents and Shared documents folders in My Computer, because these are available elsewhere. The drives are the only things that I want displayed in My Computer, so I edit the registry and remove the key that displays them here.

I love to do that also. Thanks for telling those that don't know how, how to do it. It is so cool.
