What are we living for?

I think man's struggle to reach the top is a product of his misconception that there is no after life. The life we have here on Earth is temporary. We must live the life we have today in preparation for our next life.

We are living for our lives naturally. We have so many aspirations that we want to attain. So we keep on struggling until we succeed and until we die. That is what is generally happening in our lives.

We struggle to sustain our own selves in order to live. God said to Adam before as his punishment In your sweat you will eat your bread. We therefore have to work to have something to eat. God also said that the lazy ones should not eat. On the other hand, God said that the whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments. While we are alive we should obey God and in obeying God we should work to maintain our life.

our primary purpose in life is to live according to what God wants and to please God in return for the life He have given us

We are living for ourselves, our families, and for God. While we are here on earth, we are supposed to be able to provide for ourselves to attain our goals in life and help others so that we can serve God.

i think that we live for only one reasen: TO EAT!!!

You have to struggle so hard and see many things and experience them as well (both positive and negative) so that you will learn to see that the things and entities on earth are all temporal.. so in the end you may learn to keep you eyes and your faith on those which are eternal - like God - whoever your God may be. We struggle so that we will be much strnger than we are before. We are perfected by the laws of Nature. If you have no Faith and no God to hold on to, you will be confused, lost and will be swayed easily by earthly things.
