I really did not know that it was not possible to see it in Philippines. Thnxs for the feedback. On august 28th, there will be another eclipse. Maybe we can try to find information to check if it would be able to see it from Philippines. Hope yes. :) Following time, would be in Feb/2008

Well this time I missed the event, net is 28 August I will check it out. Somehow seeing eclipses in our religion are considered bad even science agrees with it.

It seems that happens the same to different cultures/religions. Science can say that it is nothing bad..., but who knows really by sure? :) It is said, that Columbus was once "save" by a Lunar Eclipse.

I went out twice to see it, but unfortunatly it was too cloudy. So with no light and clouds, there was nothing to see. When I went back out at 10 pm, the moon was briliantly lit behind the clouds and that was beautiful enough.

OOppsss. I really know that.!! It happens to me something similar one month ago when it was possible to see a comet, but every night was raining or cloudy enough to avoid seeing it. Hope you have better luck next time. :)
