Intervention

I think it is fine to help those who seek it on their won, but I find interventions to be questionable, at best. If someone wants to leave a habit or way of life behind and asks for help then I find no problem. But to inflict your will on someone because YOU think they need to change is extremely unethical in my eyes. I can't imagine the number of people who came through all of the intervention and then the treatment and are left with no on they can trust because they were ambushed by their family. Now they can't even trust them. Regardless of all the flowery words used to cover it up, it is still FORCE. I cannot fathom why I would return to the arms of those who would force me into something that intense and invasive.
